SUMMARY Under supervision by the Program Director ERP Implementation, the Sr. Project Manager will have responsibility for the ERP implementation project lifecycle following Connecticut Children''s standard project management methodologies. They will partner to support the development and assessment of business plans for integrating or transitioning existing HR/Payroll/Financial/Supply Chain systems to the new ERP system as appropriate. With direction and mentorship, the selected candidated will provide support and management of plan and scope development, execution and rollout ensuring team member accountability to work breakdown and key milestones, and implementation expense. They will also co-lead efforts in adoption and change management of the new system and processes, to include training, communication, and other methods. The selected candidate will report to the Program Director ERP Implementation. Interested candidates should have strong interpersonal and consultative skills; proven analytical and critical thinking skills; and an aptitude for technology. Experience implementing ERP systems and prior IT project management experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Develops component project plans to support the ERP program and scope, including detailed understanding of dependencies, critical path, and work breakdown structure.Manages, executes, and supports revisions of ERP project plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies the resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.Manages and monitors day-to-day operational aspects of the project and regularly communicates project status to the Program Director ERP Implementation and other key stakeholders as directed.Maintains proactive approach to resolving project problems including those escalated by other project staff, escalates issues when necessary, and facilities decision-making.Provides tactical leadership to cross-functional project team through all phases of the ERP implementation project lifecycle including requirements and scope definition, project plan development, design, build, testing, training, communication, implementation, and transition to support operations.Facilitates necessary internal and external meetings as directed as well as preparing necessary status reports to ensure project budget, tasks, progress, risks, and issues are communicated and dispositioned in a timely fashion.Develops and maintains positive and strong working relationships with diverse individuals and groups, including administrative, operational, end-users, vendors, IS counterparts, and project team members, demonstrating behaviors consistent with the mission, values and goals of Connecticut Children''s. Supports process and system improvement opportunities as part of the transformation inherent to an ERP implementation, including any consolidation of workflows and integration of non-ERP systemsServe as a key IS liaison for the organization during the lifecycle of the ERP program implementations. KNOWLEDGE OF:Strong experience with IT budgets, operations, contracts and vendor management required. Strong project management skills required. Experience with project requirements, issue and risk management best practicesProject Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework, or other project management methodology preferred. Strong understanding of process management/process improvement methodologiesSKILLS:Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or other Project Management toolset, as well as core Microsoft Office products including Visio and PowerPointExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse personality types.
