Senior Software Engineer

SGI is seeking an experienced and collaborative Java Engineer to provide technical expertise and coordinate the day-to-day deliverables for our client''s team. This contract Java Engineer role is fully remote and offers a good rate. As a Backend Engineer, you will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. You will also research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Requirements of this flexible and agile role include: ● Bachelor''s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Our client will also consider three years of progressive experience in the speciality in place of every year of education. ● At least 5 years of Information Technology experience ● Expertise in Java technologies ● Proficiency in Spring boot/Hibernate ● Experience in Microservices In addition, it is preferred that you have at least 6 years of experience in the software development life cycle and 2 years of experience in design and architecture review.
