At Jacobs our HVAC team provides a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design. As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you''ll be responsible for providing system design: calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering / internal and external). The designer will take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you. Individuals in this position must demonstrate the ability to work on complex projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Conceptualizes alternative HVAC systems and generates lifecycle cost studies to analyze alternates Prepares energy models to forecast building operating and optimize the design Creates schematic documents to identify the selected system Be able to present proposed and alternative systems to Owners Work with junior staff and designers to prepare drawings and specifications detailing the system Prepare underlying calculations and select HVAC equipment Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects Assists in the ongoing determination of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets Performs construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports Assists in processing RFI''s, Change Orders Your most impactful mission in this role is to embrace living inclusion every day and enabling diversity and quality globally.
