The Senior National Sales Trainer will plan, develop, and implement sales training activities relating to ADC products, selling skills, and market segments. Training activities and programs will reflect the needs of the organization and its individual sales channels / markets. This role will provide training and sales management teams with progress reports on sales representative performance through written communication. This position is based in division''s home office -- Alameda, CA.WHAT YOU''LL DOMain responsibilities include:Training Programs.Work with the National Trainers and National Training Manager to implement national training programs / initiatives.Provide ongoing review of current programs to reflect evolving needs of the organization.Evaluate new training programs to determine suitability for audiences.Revise existing programs, pilot new programs, and facilitate the launch of new training programs.Assist in the training development of new district sales trainers.Sales Training Tools.Through regular participation in meetings with Marketing and Sales, develop training centered on the launch of new products and/or new sales aides.Assist in benchmarking competitive systems.Analysis of Training Results.Provide detailed analysis of sales representatives'' progress through focused classroom and follow up field training activities.Document progress versus expectations and communicate performance successes and gaps to district manager and regional director.Leadership Activities.Champion the successful completion of ad-hoc training programs.Exemplify the values of ADC Core Values in daily activities.Contribute additional value to the training team by staying informed of industry and disease state changes and enhancements.Build subject matter expertise in an area of interest and / or need.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION YOU''LL BRINGRequired:Bachelors degree10+ years of relevant experience3+ years successful leadership experiencePreferred:Healthcare industry experience preferredDemonstrated track record of high achievementExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsVery effective in 1:1 coaching and small group/classroom facilitationWorks very effectively in peer/group settings and with industry vendorsDemonstrates effective leadership skillsVery good overall computer skills; proficient in Microsoft suite of products, advanced application in PowerPointVery good knowledge of diagnostic industry, market, and customersKnowledge of regulations and standards affecting ADC products and selling practices in device industryWHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
