Process Engineering Specialist Position: Position Summary: Responsible for functioning as an individual contributor and subject matter expert for electrical systems, processes, planning, and troubleshooting. Provide electrical engineering expertise toward the design, development, installation, evaluation, startup, verification, maintenance, sustainability, and process optimization of electrical services, systems and equipment. Demonstrate electrical expertise within the engineering field while working across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in site operations. Responsibilities: Essential Duties Performs troubleshooting and modifications to the automated equipment adhering to Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices GMP change control standards and policies. Creates and modifies system specifications and standard operating procedures for the systems supported. Trains users and peers on systems. Supports software life cycle efforts. Contributes to development of continuous improvement to systems. Documentation, testing, commissioning and validation support following GDP. Provides project implementation support. Performs administrative, upgrades and maintenance tasks for control systems. Supervises consultants and contractors. Ability to manage medium complex projects without assistance. Recommends design improvements. Additional skills and responsibilities: Bachelor''s Degree in Chemical Engineering highly desired Working knowledge of dispensing, solution preparation and delivery, clean-in-place, water pre-treatment and purified water, and associated automation systems. Ability to perform material balancing and volumetric estimates to define process materials that enter and exit the process. Ability to perform cycle time and production campaigns analysis to define the basis for anticipated manufacturing throughput. Ability to develop and analyze histograms for designing water generation, distribution and storage systems. Strong aptitude for operations and controls of manufacturing equipment and processes. Ability to prepare system user requirements necessary to achieve process output quality and/or GMP regulatory compliance, and to function and be maintained in a qualified state. Knowledge of product/process requirements including regulatory, design, operational and performance. Understanding of Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and other process conditions needed to reliably manufacture product which consistently meets its Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs). Ability to prepare process descriptions that meet defined system requirements for applicable systems. Relocation Assistance is also available for this position!! Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes. Provides direct or supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions. Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience. Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management. Qualifications: Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required: Bachelor''s degree required 08-10 years related experience required. Occasional business travel required, Valid driver''s license and passport, Ability to work non-stand schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed Desired: Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
