Facility: Charlotte Correctional InstituteCompensation Base: Compensation Bonus (if applicable): Equal Opportunity Employer.SummaryThe position provides oversight of all substance abuse disorder services, prevention through aftercare (including alumni services) and provide clinical supervision to substance use disorder program staff. Maintains good customer relations, develops new business opportunities, monitors adherence to budgets, and ensure contract compliance. Learns, uses and models principles of the "What Works" system through evidence-based practices in all interactions with clients and other staff members.This role will work onsite at the Charlotte Correctional Institution''s ''Closed Management Program'' (restrictive housing)Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesFacilitates delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in a group setting focusing on the areas of motivation for change, social adjustment, personal management, social skills development, cognitive restructuring, and development of problem-solving skills.Participates in orientation of participant regarding all behavioral treatment programs including, but not limited to, T4C, Anger Management and Life Skills.The ability to facilitates and/or co-facilitates, group counseling from a structured manual.Assists in the coordination of participant program schedules to ensure the criminogenic needs of the participants are met.Performs other duties as assigned.
