Job descriptionExciting opportunity for a passionate Health and Safety Manager to join a F500 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer. Manages all aspects of plant EHS to ensure a safe accident-free work environment. Develops, leads, implements, and supports a plant wide culture of safety.This is a non-union plant with 300 employees running 7 lines 24X7.Mentor and manage 5 direct reports. Report to the Plant Manager and be a key member of the Leadership pensation: $90K - $110K + 15% bonus + 9% 401K match + outstanding relocation.Location: Denver, COResponsibilities include:Manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety and sustainable development programs (10% environmental and 90% H&S)Drive a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to continue the plant''s journey towards Health & Safety excellence.Provide strategic leadership and guidance for the Safety department including people, data and budgetary responsibility.Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership and support plant on regulatory compliance issues in Safety.Understand any/all potential safety hazards present; take steps to reduce/ mitigate any potential hazards.Build world class safety programs leading to sustainable change in the safety culture.Manage the H&S information and reporting, including the generation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, their corresponding analysis, and the proposition of improvement prehensive understanding of risk assessments of machine guarding and Incident Investigations.Manage and buildup Safety Committees.Ensure the effective training and implementation of all aspects of facility Health and Safety programs.Ensure submittal of environmental reports.Develop and deliver effective, well documented team member safety training programs.Conduct inspections and audits to detect, correct or prevent existing or potential hazards.Ensure effective communication and compliance of State, company, Federal and local Safety regulations and requirementsRequirements:Requirements:Bachelor''s degree (Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health or Environmental Health and Safety a plus).5+ years related experience in a manufacturing operation.2+ years of supervisory experience.Lean / Continuous Improvement mindset.CSP certification, a plus.
