Plumbing Designer

The JobOur office in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Plumbing Designer to join our growing team. Our Plumbing Designers focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.Here are the details of your duties in this role:Designing plumbing systems for various commercial buildingsDevelopment of system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildingsPreparation of detailed design documentsSpecification writing/editingCode compliance researchCoordinating work with other disciplinesSite survey to determine and document existing conditionsProviding construction administration servicesYour BackgroundTo succeed in this role, you need to meet the following basic requirements:A minimum of 5+ years of experienceBachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferredProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS OfficeLEED certification/experience is a plus. PE/EIT preferredFamiliarity with codes, standards and design guidelinesExcellent work ethic and attitudeGood communication and time management skillsInterpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
