Billing Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a client who is looking to add a Billing Specialist to their team, either in their Alsip or Chicago, IL location.Summary:The Billing Specialist will be responsible for preparation of bills and invoices, the calculation and verification of billing with accounts receivable ledger. This person processes changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.Duties: Billing Specialist prepares and processes invoicing of assigned customer(s) ensuring compliance with corporate & customer policies Researches reporting discrepancies by validating information received Assists cash application when needed Tracks un-invoiced shipments for month end accruals though daily invoicing verifications As a Billing Specialist, you run/reconcile outbound reports with daily revenue tracker Prepares and reviews reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness Prepares month-end revenue accruals for assigned customer(s) Proactively work to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) for customers Billing Specialist provides requested financial information to key stakeholders Supports continuous improvement initiatives for accounting process and information flow
