Desktop Support Engineer

Schonfeld is hiring Desktop Support Engineers for their NYC location. The Role We are seeking a highly talented and skilled engineer to join our team as an End User Services Engineer. The team is responsible for the monitoring/supporting of our windows infrastructure, Citrix VDI platform, SaaS platforms, and desktop applications as well as resolving direct technical issues across a global platform of end-users including investment professionals, middle & back office employees, and technologists. This role is hands-on and would allow the opportunity to work on both front-end support as well as back-end engineering. What you''ll do The End User Services Engineer will be tasked with not only providing technical support to users, but also helping with various projects and rollouts such as Microsoft App-V deployments and implementation of a global unified phone system. An ideal candidate will showcase both project management and technical skills with the leadership ability to open, onboard, and run a new office location. What you''ll bring What you need: Expertise with Windows 10. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Administration Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and Group Policy Management Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with office buildouts Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results Bachelor''s degree We''d love if you had: Trading floor support experience Experience with Active Directory VMware knowledge or experience Experience with Windows Server 2019 Networking knowledge or experience
