Summary/Objective: As the Human Resource Generalist, you will be hands-on in providing HR support for our multi-state organization. In this role, you will be the face of HR for our employees and interface with Bambee HR to provide a complete people operations solution for our company. In order to be successful, you are a self-starter, highly detail oriented and organized and excel in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. You are excellent and developing and maintaining professional relationships and operate with a high level of discretion. Responsibilities: • Establish yourself as the 'go to'' HR person for managers and employees and respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs• Develop good working relationships with management and employees in order to influence and coach them on effective employment practices• Provide support to employees in all human resource activities, including but not limited to recruiting, leave of absence management and benefits administration• Conduct new hire on-boarding, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations• Conduct investigations, recommend actions and escalate matters to senior management as appropriate to effectively resolve employee relations issues and policy violations• Manage worker''s comp insurance and claims and vehicle accidents• Maintain OSHA logs• Provide support for activities related to federal and state laws and regulations governing human resources practices including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act, Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility Verification, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act• Assist employees with benefit enrollment and benefit questions• Maintain employee files and own the Bambee HR platform• Own and execute the termination process, including ensuring final pay and paperwork is issued in compliance and conducting exit interviews• Provide HR administrative support by responding to unemployment claims and managing leave requests• Accurately process Bi-weekly payroll and associated tasks including pay rate changes, tax withholding changes and wage garnishments• Track and prepare reports various HR KPIs such as attendance, employee headcount, turnover and time to hire• Support all recruiting efforts by crafting job descriptions, posting open positions to job boards, screening candidates and coordinating interviews Qualifications: • High school diploma or (GED) required• Bachelor''s degree strongly preferred• 4-5 Years experience in HR preferred with at least 1-2 years in an HR Generalist capacity• Knowledge of and experience with a variety of human resource & payroll systems• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations• Working knowledge of email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
