Job DescriptionThe Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments and their operations. In this high impact role, you will serve as a liaison between long term care facilities and delivery staff. You will train all transport personnel In this role you will: Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends Review and set standards for staff Conduct routing staff meetings Attend management meetings as required The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments operationsKey Responsibilities: Train all transportation personnel Coordinate work schedule and delivery routes Monitor work flow, analyze patterns and trends Responsible for P&L budget for delivery expense Review and set performance standards for staff Conduct routine staff meetings Function as a working supervisor Attend management meetings as required Counsel staff regarding performance and conduct annual competency assessments Work extended hours as necessary, including 24-hour on call responsibilities Respect the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient information and property Access only the minimum amount of patient protected health information needed to perform your JOB/ROLE well Coordinate all special deliveries with the operations supervisor on duty Maintain vehicles in good and safe condition to comply with DOT, OSHA, state and federal regulations, and Omnicare policies and procedures Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by locationRequired QualificationsThe Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments and their operations.
