Job DescriptionPosition Summary :This role is part of a hybrid work model that requires the colleague to work in office part of the week. Target office locations - CT, RI, MA locations.The Executive Director of Organization Design will be responsible for developing a future-state vision and roadmap to enhance our Organization Design strategies and service delivery model, leading a small team of HR professionals. The successful candidate is highly capable in strategically supporting business and HR partners by comprehending business strategies and goals and supporting the application of organization design interventions.Duties and responsibilities include: Develops and drives the Organizational Design strategy for the CVS Health Enterprise, applying industry best practices and experience Leads a group of HR Organization Design professionals to effectively develop and execute upon our enhanced Organization Design strategy Enhances the Organization Design service delivery model to optimally support the above stated strategy Develops/enhances organizational design tools, templates and methods to assess and implement initiatives Leads the evolution of the organization design capability and acumen in the HR organization through on-going education and support Strategically partners with business leaders and HR Business Partners at all levels of the organization to comprehend and appropriately scope Organization Design projects Oversees and/or performs in-depth diagnostic assessment processes with Executive Leadership and HR Business Partners Supports the translation of business needs and the alignment of Executive Leadership and HR Business Partners around design selection, implementation plans/resourcing and guiding principles Coordinates external support vendors, as required Partners with HR leaders to implement Organization Design projects Leverages both in-depth and broad Human Resources knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex workflow, organizational design, and job scope related challengesThe successful candidate will be able to: Develop and execute upon Organizational Design strategy that links business strategy to organizational design models Establish strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR Business Partners through the organization design process Lead the organization design capability-building education plan for HR Business Partners and other HR professionals Lead complex, large-scale organizational projects, while working within the confines of deadlines and shifting priorities Interact, effectively communicate and impact & influence leaders at all levels of the organization, using discretion with sensitive or confidential information. Apply organizational design processes, analyses, best practices, theories and techniques to day to day work Engage, inspire and continuously develop a team of direct reportsRequired Qualifications10+ years of relevant:- Organizational Design processes, best practices, theories, and techniques - Business consultation- Job Analysis - Project Management- Change Management Theory (e.g. Lewin, ADKAR, etc.) - Compensation philosophy (e.g. Compensation Guidelines, job leveling, etc.) - Human Resources Business Partnering and/or Human Resources Best PracticesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
