Mobile Engineering Senior Director

Job DescriptionCVS Health Digital is looking for a Mobile Engineering Senior Director with iOS/Android to help build our next-generation platform to ensure the delivery of use cases into products focused on helping people live healthier lives. As the Engineering Senior Director you will be brainstorming with architects, product managers, data scientists and fellow engineers to oversee them build data products and ensure delivery for applications used improve the health outcomes of millions of people. You will report directly to our VP of Digital Engineering - Retail and will be leading teams across US/India. Tech Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale Stay on the leading edge of development practices Able to define a technical strategy and direct teams to invest in our core technical foundation and developer velocity. Execute release process including getting the app built, managing build variants, testing and submitting to the App Store and/or Play Store Analyze and monitor user metrics and feedback to determine issues and improve engagement Ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application A broad engineering background and deep experience leading full-stack teams in mobile development on both iOS and Android Experience with and are a proponent of automated testing. Be a subject matter expert in relevant technology and product domains An engineering veteran in digital space having worked their way up through the programming ranks, developed great skills and instincts for creating great software. Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in mobile architecture, including performance, security, and usability Product Define and review global product roadmap, technical debt and architectural improvements and be able to sequence the delivery of these appropriately. Continuously deepening industry knowledge/expertise: this person is expected to learn the space and become an expert over time; Passionate about enabling next generation experiences. Process Promote sound engineering practices and process improvement within the organization, delivering the technical roadmap on time with quality and focusing on usability.Required Qualifications At least 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
