Job DescriptionCVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Enablement team as a Senior BI Lead. You will be working across the PBM Finance department and the broader organization as we look to transform our business through unlocking the value of the PBM rebate and financial operations data. This key role will serve as a thought leader and a strategic business partner for PBM Finance leadership. You will work to expand upon the existing business intelligence capabilities to turn data into actionable insights, identifying trends that drive critical business decisions, inform strategic objectives, and improve overall performance across the entire PBM Finance partnership with the Process Improvement Team, you will collaborate with organizational leaders to identify most relevant and impactful metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment to business strategy. You will be responsible for rapidly building the business intelligence infrastructure, creating a single source of truth for metrics and KPIs and empowering our business stakeholders at all levels, from process analysts to VPs. You will continuously improve quality and accuracy of reported data, increase reporting efficiency, and look for ways to further automate existing reporting and analytics activities. You will report to the Lead Director of PBM Finance Data and Analytics. This is a fully remote role.To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter with strategic focus and bias for action, who enjoys working on difficult problems, demonstrates strong relationship building skills across organizational segments and multiple functional areas, has excellent presentation and communication skills, solid technical skills, and fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: Establish strong business relationships to be regarded as a strategic business partner and a subject matter expert in PBM Finance operational data. Work with business leaders to evaluate their business and determine what cost / quality / time / volume metrics make sense to capture where they are not capturing already. Ensure metrics and KPIs align with business strategy & OKRs. Use data to highlight true process capability, allowing comparison to target. Through proper use of data, focus our process improvement opportunities on signals and gaps between capability and target. Design and execute a more prospective view of business performance, ensuring alignment of data/insights from the executive dashboards to operations management dashboards to front line metrics. Measure and monitor operational efficiency and effectiveness using the most important KPIs, creating transparency for the team and building the basis for future improvements. Serve as a thought partner to provide guidance to the business on staffing strategy including how to best fill capacity gaps, leverage excess capacity, restructure, leverage contingent labor, etc. Identify & deploy appropriate infrastructure to facilitate metrics tracking. Build & own processes, mechanism, and tools to track, update, and maintain metrics. Improve how we are visualizing data. Ensure consistent and clear documentation for production-ready BI solutions; drive business adoption for delivered solutions. Keep various levels of leadership up to date on initiative/program progress, timeline, risks, etc. Continuously evaluate/evolve processes, best practices, and tools around data analysis, visualization, and storytelling, bringing the most effective to bear Leverage exceptional communication skills including data presentation, using data to help "tell the story" Lead by example to inspire a positive attitude, engagement, and professional growth Champion a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, collaboration, and innovationRequired Qualifications 8+ experience in operations and/or supporting reporting and analytics projects 5+ years of experience analyzing large datasets 3+ years of experience with data visualization technologies such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBICOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
