Job DescriptionThe requirements and duties of a Quality Assurance Analyst - Senior within the RxConnect QA Organization are focused on three areas: Software Testing, Project and Communication Skills, and Knowledge and Expertise. Software Testing Leading RxConnect QA efforts on smaller to medium size projects, business support requests (BSRs), and off-cycle QA requests, and is accountable for ensuring the quality outcomes of assigned projects and requests. Defining comprehensive test strategies, plans and environment checklist requirements for manual or automated testing, and leads and actively participates in test case development and execution for assigned projects and requests. Planning RxConnect QA test efforts to ensure project requirements are satisfied. Participating in team review of requirements/design documentation and then prepares the overall test strategy and test plan for manual and/or automated testing. Developing detailed expertise in the application under test and associated CVS business processes. Preparing the test suite for QA execution to ensure the requirements and quality targets are satisfied. This can include leveraging of existing manual and/or automated test cases, and designing and developing new test cases in line with the test strategy and plan while oversees the efforts to other QA Analysts to update and develop new test cases. Overseeing and contributing to the execution of test cases and the validation of results, manages team workload to meet QA deadlines and productivity targets, provides first tier of triage for project defects found during test, and ensures the proper utilization of Quality Center, Team Track, and other tools Coordinating with Project Managers and/or QA Advisors to communicate testing tasks and estimates, and to provide clear status updates and risk/issue escalation where needed Project and Communication Skills Abiding and promoting the SEP Methodology as well as its evolution. Effectively communicate project statuses to secure needed clarifications from Business Analysts, to coordinate with Development Leads and Project Managers to resolve issues and defects, and to support the Business to perform its own test activities during Business UAT cycles.Required Qualifications3+ years of SDLC and IT experience.3+ years of experience on test management tools like HP ALM, Rally, SBM teamtrack3+ years of overall exposure on testing Web Applications, Web Services, SQL3+ years of experience in back end testing using SQL queries, ability to read and write SQL queries specifically on oracle database, understanding of data relationship1 year of experience of batch processing and familiar with batch scheduling tool such as Control M-COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
