Job DescriptionCVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, is hiring an Automation Mechanic in our Monroeville Specialty Pharmacy As an Automation Mechanic, you will assist in the maintenance of all equipment within our pharmaceutical dispensing facility to ensure all equipment is running efficiently. You will maintain and enhance equipment to meet production needs as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will affect the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility. The Automation Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and be responsible for supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems. They will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees. This person will be a team player who is comfortable working in a team based environment, and will possess good communication skills with the ability to work with different levels of employees with focus on customer service. The hours for this role are Monday - Friday 2PM - 10:30PM CST.
