Job DescriptionAs the Automation Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of theAutomation department in our distribution center for our mail order pharmacy. You will be overseeing a group of multi-craft, skilled maintenance technicians who are responsible for maintaining and repairing all production equipment throughout the distribution center. As the Automation Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for participation in the hiring process, provision of guidance and direction to staff, schedule preparation and management, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, staff training, problem solving and follow-up, performance monitoring and evaluation, including corrective action, and data gathering and report preparation The Ideal candidate will able to work Mon/Tue:3:30pm to 12:00am, Wed, 1:30pm to 10:30pm, Thur/Fri: 2:30pm to 11:30pmAdditional responsibilities include plans and schedules maintenance work related to corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, work order requests, equipment installation and project related work. You will facilitate all work group activities to meet established quality standards and the objectives of Safety, Cost and Delivery and interface with maintenance manager to coordinate daily and weekly activities and set priorities. You should ensure technicians operate in a safe and efficient manner and that all safety guidelines and rules are followed. Facilitates implementation of action to improve safety performance. Proactive in identifying and addressing safety concerns before an incident occurs. Must be willing to travel in support of other CVS locations at times.We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs."¯ In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidays.Required Qualifications- 5+ years of general maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment experience, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.- 3+ years of supervisory experience.- 3+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).- Able to remain standing for extended periods of time, as well as reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 45 pounds (will be required to lift 45 pounds frequently).COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
