Web Engineering Manager

Job DescriptionCareer professional role requiring high skill with extensive proficiency. Contributes to the development, documentation and implementation of standards or guidelinesBuild and support middleware IBM WebSphere, IBM Http Server, and IBM WebSphere on the Main Frame environments. Responsible for analysis, design, installation, configuration and providing support for multiple environments. Responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of Application Servers, HTTP Servers. Working on solutions architecture, high availability implementation, configuration, tuning, development and providing operational support. Work on the impact analysis of increased transactional volume to support future business growth. Work with application teams to plan and deploy applications on Middleware technologies. Provide production support and troubleshoot production problems. Conduct configuration, performance tuning, and throttling. Responsible for the configuration of various applications servers, including IBM WebSphere/IBM Http Server. Be involved in production incidents, including investigating and resolving performance issues. Apply patches to middleware software, including IBM WebSphere and IBM Http Server. Remediate security vulnerabilities related to middleware software.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere, IBM Http Server Installation, Configuration and Monitoring. 5+ years experience Design, Installation, Configuration and Administration of Application servers and Web Servers; UNIX scripting; Performance tuning and Throttling; Configuration of Plug-in for various application servers; Configuring SSL and SSO; and working with UNIX.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Experience with was admin script execution(Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Experience with unix shell scripting Experience with all aspects of product life cycle from engineering, implementation, maintenance and 24/7 support for all supported products. SOA, Cloud, Web services, SAML, and J2EE/J2SE Framework knowledge.
