Job DescriptionThe Business Solution Architect will be part of the Rx Data and Products team and will be working closely with the Business Analysis team to facilitate, define and document business requirements for strategic pharmacy projects. Candidate will also be responsible for the solutions planning efforts for the project from conception to implementation and ensuring that all impacted areas are represented in the project process. This person is experienced with selecting appropriate techniques to accomplish business analysis tasks in different situations. BSA has good working knowledge of most, if not all, areas of business analysis and Agile product methodology. This position will require the Business Solution Architect to lead and work on one or more projects at all stages of the system life-cycle (define, design, and build). BSA/ IT Product Owner is the member of an Agile product team who owns the team backlog and features.ResponsibilitiesActively work with Business and IT Teams in business solution planning, business case development, and managing customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Play key role as project owner and lead design discussions as related to new requirements with architects, technical leads, managers, business analysts and technical staff. Works with business to decompose features into user stories that deliver tangible business results and customer value. They also prioritize user stories. Act as IT Product Owner for RxData & Product for concurrent initiatives. Works with Agile teams to create enabler stories and with IT Product Specialist to ensure current sprint user-stories are up-to-date and future stories are ready for next sprint Maintains relationships outside the local team and prepares user stories for inclusion in planning sessions In collaboration with Business Owner and Business Product manager, the candidate establishes priorities for features and Features backlog (Program Backlog) Collaborate with the Business Analysts and Business Partners throughout the requirements effort. This includes providing guidance, direction, feedback and coaching to ensure team effectiveness. Lead or perform current state analysis to assist in the definition of new concepts. Partner with the business to define scope. Play a leadership role in business problem solving. Drive innovative technology solutions aligned with CVS Health's business strategies. Ensure the requirements are comprehensive, clear, testable, well documented and maintained. Must have hands on knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence landscape Knowledge of data warehouse software development life-cycles (SDLC) including Project Management and BI analytics using Lean and AgileRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in the software development methodology lifecycle, including process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, data analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation.5+ years of experience working in and/or leading dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodology5+ years of demonstrated practical work experience in the Business Analyst role including writing business requirements5+years experience facilitating design discussions as related to understanding requirements3+ years practicing Agile methodology5+ years experience with SDLC methodologiesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
