Job DescriptionWe are searching for an Application Software Delivery Advisor to work with the IT Data Engineering & Analytics Enablement team, focused on providing enterprise-wide infrastructure insights into IT application inventory, health, and performance. This role is heavily focused on back-end data-driven architecture and development, leveraging tools such as Confluent (Kafka), Elasticsearch, and RESTful APIs. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, be familiar with ITIL processes, and have the ability to mentor, assist, and lead developers and engineers on the team. Familiarity with ServiceNow platform CMDB/Discovery schema, VMWare, Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) and other virtualization technologies is a plus. Take lead in overall architectural design of data lake ingestion and data normalization processes Code and unit test solutions for data ingestion, customized APIs Represent the team with various business leads and stakeholders, helping to deliver designs for data-driven dashboards, having clear understanding of back-end data Assist with machine learning, AIOps technologies Establish strong, positive working relationships with other engineering teams and stakeholders throughout the enterprise Collaborate with development and engineering team located across the US Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills Great organizational skills, ability to lead development and engineering team Strong analytic skills and business acumen Effective time management and problem-solving skills Embraces innovation and promotes diverse thinking Clear sense of accountability and integrity Experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) product features and configuration Experience with Confluent (Kafka) platform Experience with Linux command line environment and Windows server environments Understanding of Cloud-provider technologies (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services) Strong Java, Python, and SQL development skills Experience working with ETL tools such as Logstash, NiFi, etc. Strong unit-testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skillsRequired Qualifications 5+ years of experience in overall software design/development 5+ years of experience in programming languages: Java, Python 3+ years of experience with SQL query/procedure development 2+ years of experience using Linux 2+ years of experience using Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) 2+ years of experience using Confluent (Kafka) 2+ years of experience with Cloud-provider technologies (Azure, GCP, and/or AWS) 2+ years of experience with Agile/Kanban methodologiesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
