Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for daily operation of the Data Center Infrastructure Equipment (HVAC, Electrical), and Soft Services as well as for multiple call center in Scottsdale and the Greater Phoenix AZ area. This includes customer interaction, infrastructure maintenance, management of vendors, contractors, and rapid response to incidents. The Senior Technician will assist in maintaining a high reliability and performance of equipment that supports all mission-critical servers that must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Job Duties-Understand the complexities of heavy HVAC system as it relates to Data Center cooling-Creates work orders, MOPs, requests vendor service, and ensures that assignments are completed. -Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment. Responsible for all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric and other systems to ensure efficient operation. Knowledge of Building Systems sequence of operations is required-Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disables and enables fire alarm control panels and systems. Knowledge of Building Systems sequence of operations-Understands company policies and enforce safety regulations. Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag-out procedures-Routinely performs all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions-Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns-Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all HVAC and electrical systems. -Works with IT and internal team to fulfil power requests.-Plans and submits Data Center IT work tickets for facilities work to be accomplished within parameters set by IT Management.-Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Responds to problems in a tactful and expedient manner to both internal and external customers-Frequent inspection of facility and generates inspection reportsHours: Sunday-Wednesday 6am-6pmRequired QualificationsThis position requires a valid Driver's License1+ years of HVAC experience.1+ year of general facilities operation experience.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 pounds, including reaching over head and/or using a ladder or other lifting devices.
