Lead Informatics Consultant - Mental Wellbeing

Job DescriptionThis position is located on the Aetna Mental Wellbeing team and is responsible for in-depth technical development in support of the RFL Customer Reporting team. This position will work in collaboration with business and informatics consultants to develop data management processes that support scalable reporting solutions. This is a technical position that will involve the implementation and maintenance of ETL processes and Stored Procedures by integrating data from multiple sources, cleaning, profiling, and modeling data to support business reporting needs. Performs analyses in a relational database environment, including development of SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Implements and maintains automated ETL pipelines and packages. Performs extensive data validation and testing in a complex environment that uses multiple databases, source systems, and servers. Designs and develops algorithms, data models and reporting solutions that support internal and external clients. Makes recommendations about data management processes, metric definitions, and evaluation methods. Evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently. Ability to communicate technical ideas to nontechnical clients in written and verbal form. Responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables. Designs and conducts analyses using healthcare claims and services data.Required Qualifications 3 or more years of data management, ETL, and analytics experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools (SSMS, SSAS, and SSIS). Advanced SQL programming abilities in a data warehouse or big data analytics environment. Well-versed in data management and data modeling concepts (dimensional fact modeling, OLAP, etc.) Knowledge of reporting tools such as SSRS, Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Power BI, or Tableau. Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
