Director, Industrial Engineering- West

Job DescriptionThe Director, Industrial Engineering will lead a high performing team focused on continuously improving and refining processes and capabilities within the supply chain network. This individual acts as a senior leader on the industrial engineering and DC optimization team by directly managing field based engineers, developing their team to enhance skills and provide opportunities for continued career growth. This leader will also lead a portfolio of projects through centers of excellence within department. In this role, the Director, Industrial Engineering drives continuous improvement in productivity and cost effectiveness by ensuring network wide programs and projects are delivered to meet budget requirements and support the team by removing obstacles and prioritizing work, balancing the capability of the team and internal customers. Examples of work managed through the team include but are not limited to LMS systems, fulfilment processes, engineered standards, budgeting, labor, production capacity and staffing models facility design optimization work such as slotting and profiling, capacity management, material handling system, KPI reporting and operationalizing technology, change management and business process requirements and specification.Required Qualifications8+ years experience in engineering8+ years of supply chain experience8+ years of experience supporting warehousing, distribution or direct to consumer fulfilment operations5+ years of experience leading teams5+ years of experience with Labor Management Systems and Engineered Standards5+ years of experience with WMS systems and databases5+ years of experience Office software tools (such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) 5+ years of data analysis 5+ years of experience in project management and continuous improvement3+ years of experience with process design and facility improvementsTravel is requiredCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
