Our dynamic Order Middleware team is rapidly growing as we optimize our digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe. We are seeking a Quality Engineer who is ready to work closely with our Feature Developers to write functional automated test scenarios. This role will require the candidate to analyze user story requirements, and develop new automated test scenarios. In this role, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, be an integral part of the team, and work closely with the Technical Analysts and Feature Developers Must be fully vaccinated by January 3, 2022, subject to reasonable accommodation as required by law. Scope of the Roleí¢€¢ Develop Functional and Regression test automation scripts using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, API request and gRPC method libraries.í¢€¢ Develop low level integration tests of various internal services utilizing fake and mock services/systems.í¢€¢ Prepare accurate and detailed test plans and test cases to be delivered as automated test scenariosí¢€¢ Perform automated integration, functional and end-to-end regression testing on framework services ( RESTful APIs, gRPC methods), web and mobile applicationsí¢€¢ Serve as a Technical QA Engineer on an Agile/Scrum team to help user scenarios and implement automated tests to verify those scenarios are accounted for in the softwareí¢€¢ Review user stories to ensure that requirements are testable and validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing processí¢€¢ Ability to analyze test results for trends and patterns of failure, problem solve and perform basic investigative testing techniques.Minimum Requirements:í¢€¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering focused degree. Alternatively equivalent work experienceí¢€¢ 3-5 years of IT QA Engineering or Software Development Engineering experience with predominately API and web applicationsí¢€¢ 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment on Product Teamí¢€¢ Solid understanding various levels of a test pyramid (Unit, Integration, and functional/E2E test frameworks)Preferred Requirements:í¢€¢ 3+ years of functional automation test development using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, and other scripting languages or 3+ years as a feature back-end services software engineerí¢€¢ Experience building functional test automation libraries and solutionsí¢€¢ Experience with testing Single Page Applications (ReactJS) and React Mobile Applicationsí¢€¢ Experience with testing back-end API or gRPC servicesí¢€¢ Technical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.í¢€¢ 2+ years of AWS or GCP and their services with a good understanding of cloud-based applicationsí¢€¢ Knowledge of VCS systems like BitBucket, GitHub, or GitLabTools and Technology:í¢€¢ Python 3í¢€¢ Go (preferred)í¢€¢ Behave (or BDD equivalent)í¢€¢ Selenium, Appium, and Restful, or comparable automation testing librariesí¢€¢ Mock systems such as GoMock (preferred)í¢€¢ Confluence/JIRA (preferred)í¢€¢ Bitbucket/Git Yum is instituting a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for health and safety reasons. Ability to multi-task Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours without rest. 6 day work week 50-55 hours per week including 9 peaks. Three nights of which two must be a close. -
