Job DescriptionIn support of the Heath Care Business Network Team - Value Based Solutions group, candidate must be SQL power user, able to review results, conduct root cause analysis, identify next steps and put them into action. Candidate should have the ability to move multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results. Familiar with health care claims datasets is a plus.The focus of our business is related to population health management, creating partnerships with hospitals and physicians, and delivering differentiated experiences for our providers. We are working to transform health care through innovations that make quality care more patient-centric, accessible, easier to use, and less expensive.Responsibilities:Leading the creation of automated reporting solutions in Hive/Hadoop, Tableau, Excel, etc. Develop analysis and reporting that drives insights and action for stakeholders.Create remarkable report and dashboard designs that tell a story with the data. Establish collaborative relationships with analytic and non-analytic business partners. Conduct appropriate testing of analytic solutions to ensure results are consistent with business requirements or defined need. Support the research of user inquiries by promptly identifying and resolving reporting issues. Creates clear documentation and writes code that is readable and reproducible, and able to identify opportunity for process improvement and simplificationDeliver project commitments to quality and on-time deliverablesPresents complex data analysis and analytic reports to non-analytic clients and stakeholdersRequired Qualifications- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server as Power User for coding, troubleshooting and modifications.- 2+ years of experience programming using Hadoop and SAS.- 2+ years of experience with large databases as well data analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of data.- 2+ years experience with code automation (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, SSIS).- Experience with data visualization (Tableau).- Expertise in data storytelling and preparing data for presentation in Excel and Power Point.- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to both technical and lay audiences.- Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners to understand their goals, translate business needs into technical requirements, and act as a consultant in developing solutions.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
