Job DescriptionThis role is open to remote work - ideal candidate will be able to commute in to the Woonsocket location and come onsite 2-3 days a week.You will report to the Executive Director of Inventory Management and will work alongside other Lead Director roles within Supply Chain. This Director is responsible for building and executing business plans that achieve enterprise goals including sales, margin, in-stock, turn, fill rate, customer satisfaction and GMROII. This person will be working collaboratively with cross functional internal and external partners to build insights that drive innovation. They will also lead, grow and develop the inventory planning team reporting to them within a specific business unit. Achieve inventory targets, service metrics and enterprise EBIT goals. Collaborating with internal and external partners on product flow, supply/demand forecasts, seasonal/promo plans, store formats, and new item launches. Establish effective partnerships with the vendor community to capitalize on supply chain product flow opportunities. Provide inventory, receipt, and shipment financial forecasts to finance and supply chain partners to help with enterprise operational and financial planning. Handle and provide mentorship towards the day to day execution of replenishment strategies to the stores. Lead the development and maintenance of the inventory processes ensuring consistency and the active sharing of knowledge across the planning community Grow and develop a high performing team of inventory planners through the use of competency assessments, continuous coaching/feedback, and well-defined individual development plans Ability to give and receive feedback and adapt behaviors and plans accordinglyRequired Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience in retail or supply chain leadership roles.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. JDA forecasting and replenishment preferred. Supply Chain Certification an asset- RSSC, CSCMP or APICS preferred.Undergraduate degree in a relevant field. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven analytical ability to synthesize data and identify insights that result in the development of actionable strategies and tactical plans.. Results driven and strong time management/organization skills with a desire to work in a dynamic environment. Superior business insight and understanding of corporate financials.
