Job DescriptionWe're offering a $1500 bonus, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with NO WEEKENDS and NO HOLIDAYS. We are open 8:00 am- 7:30 pm Monday - Friday.Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact customer service role and positively impact the lives of others. Responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. Additional responsibilities include resolving and entering incomplete prescriptions after clarification is obtained including functions not limited to production, shipping orders, refill reminders, inventory control, customer service, register work. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation and problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills. As part of the Specialty Mail Order team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others.Additional responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician - Specialty include: - Use your superb communication skills to contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure in the accuracy our patient's specialty medication orders- Translate prescriptions and utilize your sig code knowledge- Excellent data entry skills will aid in your success- Processing of specialty medications in a timely manner- Ensure all financial and clinical expectations are being met prior to fulfillmentPosition is located at 2700 Northeast Expressway NE, STE B-800, Atlanta GA 30345.
