Job DescriptionFortune 4 CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Director Innovation and Strategic Programs to join our dynamic Medical Affairs Team The Medical Affairs organization at CVS Health is on a mission to improve health and healthcare for the populations we serve and ensure maximum value to our customers and partners, through accelerated innovation and transformation. This role reports to the Vice President of Collaborative Innovation and Clinical Strategy within Aetna Medical Affairs and will help formulate, lead, and champion strategic clinical and non-clinical initiatives in partnership with senior executive leaders, internal stakeholders across the enterprise, and key external clients and partners. You will be part of a talented group working to drive forward new ideas and advise senior leaders in setting the vision of our business, marketing new opportunities, and enhancing customer success. This role involves internal and external thought leadership and credibility, complex, cross-functional stakeholder and initiative management, and significant exposure to executive leadership. Strong candidates must be technically sound, intellectually curious, analytically strong, highly collaborative, and an excellent communicator.Key responsibilities: Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Aetna, Retail, and Caremark leadership to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities. Lead strategic initiatives focused on optimizing pharmacist and other roles within CVS Health/Aetna and the community. Drive programs and projects through commercialization and identification of market and industry opportunities. Serve as thought leader and partner to executive team and strategic clients and partners. Assure successful formulation, resourcing, and impact of strategic products and programs. Act as delegate for Vice President of Collaborative Innovation and Clinical Strategy in both internal and external engagements. Develop and manage effective internal working relationships and trust across stakeholders and leaders. Partner with sales and account teams, and marketing and communications, to maximize client/partner impact. Drive new ideas to shape the vision for our businesses while guiding the activities to scope initiatives, analyze data, evaluate risks, and ensure execution on deliverables. Impact and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of related work experience Minimum 5 years of experience developing/implementing/managing complex health initiatives or programs Minimum 5 years of experience in roles that involve strategic problem solving and new business or product developmentCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
