Job DescriptionThe Data Visualization Engineer will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting companywide portfolios comprising of various applications with the potential of building new systems from scratch based on business needs and priorities. The Data Visualization Engineer will be responsible for leading the research, design, development, testing and deployment of reporting applications using MiscroStrategy , Tableau and other open source BI Reporting technologies to support Organization needs. The position requires strong attention to detail with excellent communications skills. This position is a combination of design and application end user support, responsible for total ownership of end-to-end support of applications in all phases of the lifecycle.Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Microstrategy, Tableau or any other dashboard tool 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (preferably Teradata or Snowflake and PL/SQL syntax)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Experience in Cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS) computing environment preferred. Experience with Power BI Report Development preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work on multiple application enhancements and production support items in parallel with timely project deliveries. Ability to investigate and adapt emerging analytic tools and solutions into the analytic standard operating procedures. Experience developing creative visualizations that allow leaders to see more from the data than traditional more basic views. Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills. Ability to make recommendations based on the data and provide insights and value to our internal and external customers.EducationBA/BS degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred) with 4-7+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree or equivalent in an analytic discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience.Business OverviewAt CVS Health, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their path to better health.
