Job DescriptionAs a Business Analyst Senior manager with CVS Health's Aetna Enterprise Integrations organization that is driven by a vision to "improve the quality of human life" of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access. A Business Analyst that has years of deep practical work experience in the role, with repeated practice performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations. A person in this role has great expertise with regards to what techniques to use and what influences the usage of the various techniques for the tasks. He or she works autonomously to plan, supervise and lead the work of other BAs on projects and work efforts.As a Business Analyst Senior manager you will utilize Business tools, techniques, and best practices to gather business requirements and create epics, stories to meet the business needs.Required Qualificationso 5+ years of demonstrated practical work experience in the Business Analyst role including writing business requirementso 6+ years experience in the software development methodology lifecycle, including process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, data analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementationo 6+ years experience working in and/or leading dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodologyCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Technical and development background a plus, Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio), Integrations Knowledge ]- Self-driven individual with the following:- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in IT, IS, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or closely related technical field- SCRUM certifications a plus- BA certifications a pluso Experience facilitating design discussions as related to understanding requirementso Experience with one or more SDLC methodologies- Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information- Listening skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say- Writing and Verbal skills with a meticulous attention to detail, to communicate information effectively to leads, managers, and technical staff- Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff)- Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, assess risk, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements-Experience with Integrations or Provider dataEducation- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalentBusiness OverviewAt CVS Health, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their path to better health.
