Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle is responsible for strategic oversite of the CVS Specialty Medical Benefit post shipment revenue cycle department, identifying and implementing best practices across the billing, collections, and new client implementations. In this role, the Sr. Manager is expected to create simplicity by developing strategies that contribute to the highest degree of productivity and accuracy and leading innovation through system enhancements and process redesign.The Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle is also responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the department Manager(s) and Supervisor(s) to ensure overall goals and priorities of the company and department are successfully performed. In addition, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with our large payers and leading discussions designed to resolve ongoing issues and expedite payment. They will work closely with our front-end operations and SAE colleagues to ensure we have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that hinder our ability to quickly obtain payment for services provided to our patients, and then work with our business leaders to develop ongoing process recommendations that will serve to improve our overall collections capabilities. In addition, the Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle will provide oversite for the following functions Control processes that monitor and drive resolution. Identification and resolution of critical payer issues. Strategic system enhancements. Expand our automated claim status through API Explore RWQ enhancements for optimal performance management Collaboration with New Client Implementation to ensure a smooth transition and strategic process recommendations.o Senior leader program/product support and strategic process recommendationso Review new client implementation programso Review contract languageo Review new client Provider Manualso Ensure system can accommodate requirements or identify system enhancements to support the requirementso Compliance with any Managed Medicare or Medicaid regulations/requirements Proactive and effective communication of department results and updates to senior business leaders.The Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle is the primary contact for internal and external business partners for the CVS Specialty Medical benefit department. The Sr. Manager joins forces with our pharmacy partners, key clients, SAE, contract review and implementation teams for strategic planning.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, including health insurance or pharmacy services5+ years of management experience in healthcare revenue cycle, managing various levels of employees including exempt and non-exempt staff.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. Ability to effectively manage and provide team leadership. Extreme accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work in teams and coordinate work efforts. Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Attention to customer focus to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely information. Ability to evaluate work and process flow to ensure optimal efficiencies. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in a high intensity, fast paced production environment.
