Job DescriptionWe have an exciting new role in Mount Prospect, IL for a full time Lead Automation Maintenance Technician. You will lead a team of multi-skilled maintenance mechanics while working with engineers and other technical support personnel to maintain equipment in a large volume advanced technology pharmaceutical dispensing facility to ensure equipment availability, efficiency and reliability. You will maintain, repair and enhance equipment to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. In this position you will work with equipment such as but not limited to ABB Robots, Allen Bradley PLCs, Bechoff PLCs, Bechoff EtherCat systems, Thermal Transfer Printers, Variable Frequency Drives, Servo Motors, Servo Controllers, Various Barcode Scanners, Vision Inspection Systems, Conveyor Systems and Custom Medication Dispensing Equipment. In this position, you will also provide a leadership role in mentoring, training and developing less experienced maintenance team members. Your efforts will affect the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility.The successful candidate will drive innovation and continuous improvement, must be able to work independently, in teams and closely with operations, engineering, quality and other technical support groups to resolve issues. This position will support Automation Maintenance Supervision and Automation Maintenance Management with scheduling and timely completion of preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance. This is a 3rd shift Lead position. We need someone to work onsite Mon-Thurs 10:00pm-6:30am and Sat 12am-8:30am.We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs."¯ In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidaysRequired Qualifications 5+ years working in a Lead role with demonstrated competency to train team members. 5+ years following company policies, specifications and SOPs. 7+ years troubleshooting, installing and testing experience (Barcode Scanning Systems, Vision Inspection Systems and Industrial Ethernets and/or EtherCat) 5+ years utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel 5+ years utilizing CMMSCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
