Job Descriptionhe Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Consultant will report directly to the Director of FP&A and Risk Adjustment and will support the end-to-end analysis of profit & loss statements, reporting and budget & forecasting for the Aetna Better Health of Illinois Market. This covers 20% of the total Aetna Medicaid business revenue of $2.7 Billion and a membership of 400K (15% of state program). You will: Manage the Risk Adjustment Program and review and report updates to the program to the Senior FP&A Adviser for presentation to the Director, Market CFO, and Market CEO for enterprise submission Manage risk adjustment gap closure programs, including reporting out on key metrics such as chart chase, telehealth and face to face health assessments Work on projected risk scores for quarterly forecast and annual budget Create and support requisite and supplemental materials to assist in Risk Adjustment program explanations and/or updates to the Executive Leadership and Enterprise Advise on the latest updates from the state regarding risk adjustment and will support analysis of the financial impact Support the EUM quarterly submissions to the state and subsequently interacting with the Encounters team and other Departments as necessary Help with inquiries by both the state and the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans regarding Risk Adjustment and data submission for the purpose of risk adjustment state program updates Support Premium with analysis of any/all adjustments and updates to risk scores by rate cell and product Support the monthly calculation of Risk Corridor/MLR Rebate position of the Plan for internal and external reportingRequired Qualifications 3+ years of experience in risk adjustment 3+ years of experience navigating through large data sets using tools like Excel (queries, formula and report building)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
