Job DescriptionThe Facility Services Manager is responsible for supporting the distribution center Director in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of capital projects. The position includes management of the preventative maintenance schedule, compliance with applicable state and local regulations, and management of multiple facility-related projects and partial P&L ownership. The selection, professional development and motivation of an independent group of Facility Services employees are critical responsibilities that must be carried out with a global perspective conducive to CVS operating philosophy.The Facility Services Manager collaborates with the corporate facility services team for capital project budgeting and approval, appropriate vendor selection, and contract management. It is critical that a continuous improvement mindset be utilized to foresee the future needs of the facility team and how facility improvement projects should be planned to increase distribution center efficiency, employee engagement, and daily continuity of operations.Required Qualifications-Experience with sortation systems and conveyors-Proven ability to personally lead an organization of skilled tradesman-Proven track record of managing multiple high-cost projects for a facility in distribution, manufacturing, or similar-5 plus years of proven operational, technical and facility services experience within a related industry.-Ability to manage relationships with collaboration and influencing skills to successfully operate cross functionally throughout the enterprise.-Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time on project and network support needs .-Ability to maintain focus on long-term goals while executing against short-term objectives.-Ability to remove roadblocks and obstacles to meet objectives and achieve desired outcomes.-Ability to manage budgetary constraints and expenses while making recommendations on future budgetary needs.-Proven ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.-Solid communication and presentation skills to ensure expectations are communicated across operational DC team, vendors, partners, and suppliers.-Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, electrical and general facility maintenance.-Proven track record of managing multiple high-cost projects for a facility in distribution, manufacturing, or similarCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
