Senior Security Engineering Manager (Cloud)

Job DescriptionThe Cloud Security Architect - Senior Advisor will design, develop, test and implement CVS Health security solutions for our public cloud environments. The successful candidate will work within the Enterprise Information Security Team, in partnership with CVS Health Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering and lines of businesses, in a hands-on environment, working with numerous and varied applications and teams. The successful candidate will have a strong combination of practical security, networking, public cloud design and compliance skills. The successful candidate will be well connected with key security and cloud industry partners and maintain a close watch on how the industry is changing and evolving to stay ahead of our competitors. Help develop new cloud security strategies and implementations for the company. Advisory role to Cloud Security Executive Director on security matters relating to design of security components. Subject matter expertise on cloud security for IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS. Champion a DevOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms. Support the company's goals in secure cloud adoption through hands on interaction with development and engineering teams to cultivate a cloud first mindset in transitioning workloads.Required Qualifications8+ years of prior experience in the related fieldCore competencies:-1 + year of experience in Cloud Strategy and Cloud Architecture. - Customer-focused mindset with a strong desire to provide excellent customer experiences. - A deep understanding of the cybersecurity vendor landscape and how tools and technologies can be leveraged to achieve desired outcomes.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Deep understanding of Azure and/or Google and/or AWS public cloud configurations. Experience supporting large Internet network infrastructure in virtual and physical implementations and/or supporting a large scale migration of workloads from private to a public cloud environment. Knowledge of enterprise level cloud design patterns. Understanding of large-scale multi-cloud deployments and operations. Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, current trends, and best practices. Familiar with cloud services, comfortable assessing cloud services for base line functionality. Understanding of multi-cloud logging and monitoring patterns. Understanding of cloud networking patterns and micro-segmentation. Understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies. Familiar with cloud deployment pipelines. Familiar with industry leading cloud security solutions and tools. Experience with cloud compliance / regulatory standards. Familiar with Twelve Factor application design patterns. Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies in a rapidly changing environment. Performed similar role in other enterprise organizations.
