Job DescriptionBusiness OverviewAs part of the bold vision to deliver the "Next Generation" of managed care in Ohio Medicaid, Ohio RISE will help struggling children and their families by focusing on the individual with strong coordination and partnership among MCOs, vendors, and ODM to support specialization in addressing critical needs. The OhioRISE Program is designed to provide comprehensive and highly coordinated behavioral health services for children with serious/complex behavioral health needs involved in, or at risk for involvement in, multiple child-serving systems.This is a full time telework position in Ohio. The I/DD Administrator supports the business by providing expertise around supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet members, providers and overall business needs. Must reside in Ohio. This position will require statewide travel, 10-25% of the time.Fundamental Components: Responsible for leading/managing aspects of I/DD-related innovative/initiatives/pilots including quality of life and value-based initiatives around employment, housing and community inclusion. Ensures the end state of the project and/or business operations meets quality and business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Manages relationships across the segments and functional areas. Represents the business in I/DD external and internal workgroups, committees, stakeholder events, conferences, advocacy meetings and I/DD related activity. Responsible for the I/DD member Subcommittee, town hall meetings and other advisory committees. Develops and provides ongoing technical assistance, training and support to members, providers and the business overall. Develops and implements strategic business plan to achieve business goals. Proactively leads a program and/or complex projects by setting strategic direction. Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization. Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, other business areas across/within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed. Consults with constituents to scope/define project. Influences change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or quality services. Obtains financial support for complex projects that support this work as it relates to program management. Collaboratively works across multiple functions and/or segments to obtain agreement from all impacted parties. Responsible for development and implementation of new ideas that support team and the work. Cross function group facilitation. Leads all projects and/or program management work including monitoring and tracking of progress and status update communications. Responsible for resource utilization within and across work teams. Responsible for the quality and financial implications of projects and/or program budgets. Assists others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan. Support delivery of care coordination by participating in the Child and Family Teams, providing expert support to care coordinators, and collaborating with stakeholders such as state agencies and advocacy organizations. Identify and address the unique needs of members and their families. Collaborate with Ohio's Educational Service Centers throughout the State to identify opportunities for collaborative learning, to sponsor community events, and to participate in advocacy.Required Qualifications 5+ years' experience in the I/DD field specifically supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, families, I/DD providers, stakeholders and advocates. Experience with Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers, and specific supports and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must possess lived experience (personal experience parenting or family engagement of a child or youth with significant behavioral health challenges or co-occurring disorders) OR professional experience in child-serving systems. Candidate must reside in Ohio. 1+ year(s) of project management experience. 3+ years of experience with personal computers, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications.
