Distribution Center Supervisor 1st Shift

Job DescriptionAs the Warehouse Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of non-exemptemployees in CVS Health's distribution facility in North Smithfield, RI. This includes planning,organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift andfunctional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally,your duties may include order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. As theWarehouse Department Supervisor, you will also be responsible for maintaining a high level ofproductivity and quality.The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30pm.Required QualificationsRequired Qualifications :- Hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires- Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensuresuccessful completion of tasks- Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals- Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level ofestablished loading of trailers by the projected time of completion- Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantityexpectations are met or exceeded- Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately andsubmitted on a timely basis- Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet orexceed the productivity standards for their function- Utilizing a variety or reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problemsthat arise during the workday- Communicate effectively across all levels- Analyzing information effectively to make sound business decisions- Build high performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleaguesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
