Job DescriptionCVS Health is seeking an experienced sales and use tax professional, with a proven ability to navigate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a large and complex organization, to join our efforts in driving change and process improvements.As a Sales and Use Tax Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager, Indirect Tax. Your primary responsibilities include working with internal and external partners to ensure all sales and use tax obligations are met. Success in this role will require a passion for being part of a high performing team of tax professionals with an appetite for change and a low tolerance for the status quo.Additional responsibilities of this role include:-Prepare, review, and analyze data to support indirect tax obligations, in a timely manner and with careful attention to detail. -Assist in gathering and analyzing information associated with tax audits conducted by various taxing jurisdictions. -Monitor and evaluate business activities for filing responsibilities and nexus exposure to mitigate indirect tax deficiencies.-Assist with sales and use tax registrations and renewals.-Review, research, understand, and determine the taxability of the goods and services being sold and purchased.-Perform analysis of tax rates for the various products and services sold or purchased in the jurisdictions where the company does business. -Analyze and communicate the impact of sales and use tax law developments.-Assist with special projects and perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. -Demonstrate commitment to being a contributing member of the team and willingness to cross train and assist others when needed.Required Qualifications1+ years of sales and use tax experience (public or private)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
