This leader must be sales-oriented, committed to delivering a top-notch experience, and adept at maximizing brand and product education to drive sales and improve the customer experience. This leader must have experience with diverse beauty sales teams, recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales teams.As a Manager of Beauty Sales, you are excited about all things beauty and can execute strategies that enable your teams to translate their passion for beauty into sales growth and exceptional customer experiences. The Manager of Beauty is responsible for achieving outsized Beauty and Personal care sales in their applicable territory. The Manager of Beauty Sales is responsible for executing a talent management strategy for their CVS Beauty Service teams, enhancing B&PC business value through tactical human resource planning and leading interdepartmental collaboration. You will provide management to a team of 1-4 Beauty Coordinators, the curators of the ultimate beauty experience in stores. The Sales Coordinators are tasked with ensuring all Beauty Sales Consultants have the skills and tools they need to drive selling, maximize customer engagement, and elevate product promotions and events. Your field organization also encompasses 40-75 Beauty Sales Consultants; the beauty sales focused team in our CVS Beauty Service program stores. You are the ambassador for the CVS Beauty Service program to field leaders and vendors, ensuring that you analyze business results and service evaluation tools to drive sales and elevate the beauty customer experience for CVS. As a Manager of Beauty Sales, you will be responsible for:Sales Driver- Selling: (50%) Provide regular and timely in-depth sales performance updates to field leadership on Beauty & Personal Care business metrics for Beauty Service program stores. Execute divisional/region/district selling strategies that lead to revenue growth to sales budget targets for B&PC categories. Champion and manage B&PC strategic initiatives in the field. Provide Beauty Service team sales management with analysis and reporting as required. Identify stores with business opportunities and create tactics to course correct opportunity doors to aid in budget achievement. Assess key tactics driving sale growth to maximize best practices in all stores. Ensure Beauty Service vendor events and Merch beauty initiatives are consistently executed to drive sales growth and customer engagement. Manage consistent assessment of event results to implement strategies to maximize beneficial activities and mitigate ineffective actions.Talent Management/ Development (50%) Field ambassador for Front Store Beauty Merch team with Divisional, Regional & District managers to ensure programs and initiatives are fully executed by the entire store teams and to help lead cultural change in driving Beauty sales focus and support with Field Leaders and Store Management. Cultivate an environment of continuous learning: Ensure consistent sales training and product knowledge curriculums are completed by Beauty Service teams. Create a Beauty Coordinator team of beauty experts and customer advocates that champion CVS beauty and ensure all CVS Beauty Service initiatives and programs are consistently executed within your area. Execute and monitor development goals and coaching priorities for all levels of the Beauty Service team. Ensure Beauty Service staffing optimization by monitoring recruitment process, managing turn-over rates, and identifying applicable Beauty Service talent.Travel Conduct a minimum of 1 visit per month with each Beauty Coordinator in the assigned regions to provide coaching and support on beauty business and confirm alignment with Beauty Service programs. Local travel is required 60% of the time, including some nights and weekends, to meet business needs.Required QualificationsEducation/Experience: Bachelor's Degree 2-5 years beauty industry experience. 1-2 years management experience, educating, coaching, and developing sales teams Strong passion for beautyLanguage Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret general business information and metrics. Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers, vendors, buyers, peers, and all levels of management.Mathematical Skills: Strong business analytical skills. Able to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios. Microsoft Excel skills- must be able to navigate spreadsheets, create formulas and utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data.Reasoning Ability: Work independently, with minimal supervision. Skill in organizing material, information, and people systematically to optimize efficiency and minimize duplication of effort. Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to define the problem or objective. Physical Requirements: Physical abilities to support the essential functions of the role, such as being able to stand and/or move throughout the store for the majority of work time to provide excellent customer service and beauty consulting. Able to stoop, kneel or crouch, and reach or grasp objects, including objects on lower shelves and climb ladders. This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing. May include standing for at least two consecutive hours. May involve lifting at least 30 lbs. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Other Skills: Exceptional customer service skills. Goal-driven, with the ability to multi-task.
