Senior Medical Economics Analyst

Job DescriptionThe Senior Medical Economics Analyst, will:Retrieve, organize and perform analysis on data, is actively involved in decision making process to provide results against plan objectives. Specifically, serves as project manager and/or participant on selected project(s). Projects primarily include the following:- Analyze complex types of fee-for-service provider contracts and present results against budgets and benchmarks, perform variance analysis and produce complex ad hoc reports to satisfy information needs across products/segments and markets. - Utilize, maintain and develop pricing models and medical cost tracking tools (e.g. pModel). Provide complex and detailed analysis and support for planning and forecasting of medical costs including the development of gross medical trend estimates.- Provide consultative support to network managers with legitimacy testing of rate proposals.
