Job DescriptionAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Alpharetta, GA: Sr. Application Developer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: design, develop, debug, and test MicroServices using Spring Boot and Node Js; develop RESTful API's to integrate with internal and external applications; develop common logging functionality for node JS micro services; configure and publish APIs using Gateway technologies like IBM API Connect, Google Apigee and secure APIs; develop Restricted Apigee Dev portal to open the APIs to Outside world; develop test scripts and perform unit testing; work on Build and Deployment tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, Harness to promote the APIs to different Environments like; analyze the code quality and coverage; configure Spring boot services to capture the New Relic and Prometheus Metrics; and configure Docker containers, Kubernates logs, and cloud monitoring tools. participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) with SAFe Agile best practices and CI/CD pipelines automation using Jenkins; and analyze load test results and provide technical recommendations from findings.Required QualificationsMaster's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience with each of the following: developing MicroServices; Java, J2EE, and Spring MVC; REST services; JQuery, JavaScript, and JSON; Oracle; SQL Developer; Jenkins; API Connect; and Spring Boot.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
