Job DescriptionJoin the Data and Analytics Engineering team to drive data, analytics, and insights transforming the healthcare industry. As an Engineer on our team, you will be a part of a team that supports the design and delivery of scalable and reliable on-prem and cloud-native platforms for data and analytics engineering domains.As a Lead Data Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for delivering platform deployment patterns that support enterprise use cases and solutions across lines of business. You will be positioned as a technical expert to support user onboarding, adoption, training, solution recommendations for new use cases, and new technology assessment and recommendations on on-prem, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure. Other responsibilities include:∙ Establish processes to enable proactive planning and expansion of infrastructure based on usage and adoption∙ Recommend technical solutions based on business requirements and prioritization∙ Implement success metrics for adoption and for tracking the business value of investments at the enterprise level∙ Create/propose solutions for enterprise-wide deployment with considerations around scale and costs∙ Address issues/risks/dependencies in solution recommendations ∙ Publish best practices and architecture patterns aligning to functional needs∙ Support user onboarding, training, and adoption activitiesSkills:∙ Strong skills in design and solution engineering across cloud (GCP, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure∙ Understanding of architecture patterns to enable scalable solutions for data management, BI, and analytics∙ Deep understanding of data lifecycle management (operational databases, warehouses, integration and governance, pipelining, analytics enablement, and reporting)∙ Critical thinker, with the ability to make decisions on technology aligned to business needs for analytics and data engineering functions∙ Highly motivated, independent worker with a pulse on industry trends and best practices.∙ Ability to manage multiple priorities, tools, and infrastructure platforms∙ Excellent written and verbal communication skills∙ Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environmentRequired Qualifications∙ 5 or more years of experience with Data and Analytics Tools∙ 2 or more years of experience in the cloud (GCP preferred, or equivalent Azure/AWS)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
