Job DescriptionThe Retail Last Mile Sr. Analyst will be responsible for supporting the team of our day to day last mile, small parcel delivery network. This role will be responsible for supporting the analytics of 17 business units across the Retail division, regarding all carrier/courier pickups and deliveries across the network. The Sr. Analyst will interact with senior level leaders frequently, act as a liaison working with various internal partners, and support data analysis to be used in the decision making and determination of the most cost effective modes for transporation. The role requires an understanding of analytics and business practices to help support strategies that enable improved data visibility, cost management, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with both technical and analytical skills, who can develop an understanding of business processes and shape analytics and reporting that fosters continuous improvement. The Sr. Analyst needs to build a strong knowledge and deep understanding of the various business intelligence analytic engines; including but not limited to ThoughtSpot, freight auditor dashboards and reporting tools. In addition, the Sr. Analyst must be knowledgeable of policies that may impact the organization's decisions, initiatives, etc. Provide continuity and stability within the retail last mile transportation team, across a dynamic spectrum of goals. Arrange and schedule meetings with carriers/couriers to prepare quality assurance and on-time performance reports to be reviewed.
