Job DescriptionThe Onsite Health and Wellness Coach position requires 4-5 days a week onsite at a client location in Indianapolis, IN with an optional 1 day per week to work from secure home location.Schedule: Standard business hours Monday - Friday.The main responsibilities of the Onsite Health and Wellness coach will be to support onsite face to face individual health coaching, onsite group coaching and supporting health fairs and activity table/booths throughout the year at a multidisciplinary health clinic within a client location.- The Onsite Health and Wellness Coach will act as the face of the health and wellness programs for this client while promoting healthy behavior change and engagement in available health and wellness program. Support wellness events in the workplace including but not limited to health fairs, presentations, biometric screenings and individual and group coaching both in person and virtually. - Build relationships with wellness champions and HR contacts.- Promote and build awareness of wellness programs and vendor partners health and wellness programs and resources. - Deliver health and well-being education and coaching on topics including weight management, stress management, tobacco cessation, healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, prediabetes, prehypertension, preventative health and other healthy lifestyle topics. - Create awareness, drive healthy behavior changes, increase engagement and help to positively impact the health and wellbeing of employees for this client. - Promote wellness services and events through collaboration with marketing and communications teams.Required Qualifications-3+ years of experience with healthy lifestyle coaching in at least 4 of the following areas: weight management, tobacco cessation, nutrition, physical activity and/or stress management.- 3+ years of experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavioral change.- 3+ years of experience with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and documenting in systems.- 3+ years experience presenting to audiences both onsite and virtually on health related topicsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred Qualifications- Health coaching certification preferred- Masters degree or higher level education preferred- Experience in motivational interviewing and active listening- Experience with the Transtheoretical Model of Change, mindfulness-based and other evidence-based coaching techniques preferred.- Strong clinical decision-making skills.- Strong desires to coach, motivate, and support members.- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. - Experience or knowledge of management of chronic health conditions, especially as it relates to Diabetes, Obesity and Hyperlipidemia.- Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people, use good judgment in new and challenging situations.- 3+ years supporting workplace wellness events such as health fairs, biometric screenings, presentations, activity booths and supporting individual and group coachingEducation- Bachelor's degree in a health related field requiredBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
