Job DescriptionThis position includes a $1,500 retention bonus for external new hires. You will receive a portion after 3 months of employment and the remainder after 12 months of employment.Responsibilities: Assist the pharmacist in obtaining authorization for pharmacy services as requested; validate insurance coverage and communication with patients by telephone Gather information for the initial admission of new patients and review all new charts to ensure that all necessary nursing paperwork is included Manage the schedule for patient deliveries, manage inventory, create and maintain supply templates in the pharmacy computer data base Document all supply management activities in the patient medical record Participate on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needsRequired QualificationsCertification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law Minimum 1 year of experience Position is not remote, must be available to work onsiteCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
