Job DescriptionThe Manager of Business Development for Clinical Trial Services (CTS) will be responsible for delivering on our ambitious multi-year sales plan via direct engagement with high-value major pharmaceutical manufacturers, government and NIH entities, academic and other partners. This role is a high-visibility client and CTS leadership facing position with outside opportunity to impact and grow a new business unit within CVS Health.Our services include solutions for clinical trials: Phase 2, 3 & 4 clinical Trials Clinical trial inclusion and exclusion criteria, including diverse patients Range of therapeutic areas, from Allergies to Vaccines Help principal investigators associated with CVS or independent health systemsWhat you'll do: Pro-actively engage new sales leads, shepherding them through multi-month complex stage gates to meet client and internal targets, delivering a superior consultative sales partnership to our clients Own and direct a sub-set of client accounts, responsible for realization of sales (project bookings), expansion of purchased offerings, and development on both fronts over time Lead project management activities, driving internal stakeholders and external partners toward timely delivery of account goals. Collaborate with a matrix of internal and external technical and clinical stakeholders to garner approvals during the pre-and post sales processes as well as ongoing communication with account managers, Legal, Privacy, Compliance and Finance professionals and Clinical Trial Services leadership.Required Qualifications2+ years of Business Development or Account Management experience in healthcare, clinical research organizations, clinical trials, pharmaceutical or biotech company.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
