Job DescriptionAt CVS Health, you will be a member of a highly focused, highly collaborative team, where you will work across multiple Finance business units to coordinate a highly visible, highly complex budget transformation project. You will develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the economics of the Caremark PBM, ultimately understanding how the various teams across the PBM budget and forecast prescription volume, revenue, margin, rebates, and operating income. That understanding will translate into the various steps that would yield a highly detailed budget model with drug and pharmacy detail.You will work with the finance groups that own each piece of the Caremark PBM budget and keep the progress on those items consistent and produce new components of the budget transformation project on time. This will be accomplished mostly through utilizing project management skills to keep those teams focused on developing these new assumptions and collaborating with various teams across the enterprise to develop more detailed assumptions, but will also entail more direct methods of support, such as performing relevant analyses for those teams to help answer questions for them.You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership and business partners from finance, analytics, underwriting, operations, retail networks, and other groups to help refine crucial assumptions as well as to ensure the quality of the outputs of the model.You will work closely with the IT Data & Technology team who is building out the code in a SQL Server to apply all Finance & Business-driven assumptions and create our pharmacy group, drug, client-level budget.Your experience will include working with individual Finance teams to translate business needs into budgeting methodologies to give to the IT team. To be successful, you will need to be an effective communicator with strong organizational skills to coordinate many different groups and move this project through its many stages. Additionally, you will need have strong analytical skills to be able to do both intermediate analyses to develop logic around each budget element as well as quality assurance on the output from this large budget model. Finally, you will need to be a quick, flexible, and independent learner, able to transition from budget element to budget element and become quickly attuned to that particular team's needs and help them problem-solve.Required Qualifications5 or more years analytics experience, financial analysis and/or finance (including internships)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
