Job DescriptionTo combat cybersecurity threats, CVS has established a robust Security Operations Center (SOC) and a professional Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) that utilize advanced SIEM (Security Incident Element Manager), security appliances, Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence (CTI), and technologies to monitor the environment for compromise. Cyber threat intelligence - CTI uses knowledge, skills and experience-based information concerning the occurrence and assessment of both cyber and physical threats and threat actors that is intended to help mitigate potential attacks and harmful events occurring in cyberspace. Cyber threat intelligence sources include open source intelligence, social media intelligence, human Intelligence, technical intelligence, device log files, forensically acquired data or intelligence from the internet traffic and data derived for the deep and dark web.Historically, intelligence tactics, techniques, and procedures as well as various types of intelligence operations existed long before cyberspace was conceived. Intelligence often seen as “offensive†in nature when viewed through the lens of spying, but the ultimate purpose of intelligence is actually to enable entities to defend against attack.Required Qualifications5+ years experience in information security roles with experience in the health services or financial industries.3+ years of cybersecurity incident response.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Advanced degree in engineering, Cybersecurity, information assurance, information security, information systems or computer science - preferred. National Security Administration - Department of Homeland Security certification for NTISSI/CNS standards 4011-4016 - preferred. Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (Access Data, SANS) - preferred. Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) - required. Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) - preferred. Certified in Information Systems Risk Management (CRISC) - preferred. IT crisis management experience. Experience in information security technologies and techniques from architecture to planning and implementation. Experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading information security incidents. Experience in DoD, DISA, NSA, and military information security related projects and programs including those requiring a security clearance. Military communications systems and physical security experience desirable. Knowledge of various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and security including ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST standards.
