Job DescriptionAccountable for initiative planning, business results and ongoing strategic alignment of project portfolio and high value initiatives. Accountable for transferring knowledge, best practices (external and internal), methodology and tools to operations organization. May be responsible for concurrent initiatives as team lead and/or team member, based on resource requirements. Drives development of strategic plans. Ownership and management of project portfolio for multiple business units. Gathers, analyzes and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives Communicates compelling and concise results to empower business leaders in decision making regarding initiative opportunities Conducts thorough business case and external customer value analysis to determine selection, prioritization and approach for projects/business initiatives (eg. outsourcing, process improvements, technology solutions) Fully integrates baseline and metrics tracking into initiative planning and execution for optimal results. Shares joint accountability for initiative's return on investment Guides project engagement using a disciplined repeatable methodology. Designs, develops interventions and facilitates work sessions. Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting and presentation materials Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and develops Enterprise affiliations to secure funding or partnerships Leverages internal and external networking to drive optimal initiative results and knowledge/best practice transfer Leads projects as required.Required Qualifications 7+ years experience and leadership with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, strategic business planning, and/or project management. Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously. 3 years of project management with a working understanding of medical claim operations, claims flow and medical management (pre-certifications, medical necessity reviews, case management). Experience working in an agile environment. Proven ability to affect change/interpersonal skills. Past positions required acting as a project lead and directing a team. Past experience includes development of project budgets and developing ROI. Proven communication skills both written and verbal. Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources. Proficient in aggregating data, tracking, and analytics.
